Our Heritage

It's a family affair

It's in our blood; In 1948 a young Italian woman, the third eldest of a family of nine, left her mountain village of Segusino in the province of Treviso to find work in England. She was successful, had a family and was blessed with three children and then four grandchildren.

Sixty-four years later her eldest son has returned to his roots and sourced a superb range of wines from the region for the UK market.

There is a great wine made in the region of Conegliano–Valdobbiadene and Asolo – Prosecco DOCG .The main constituent of the Bellini cocktail, made famous in nearby Venice at Harry’s Bar, this giant wine of North-East Italy has become synonymous with celebration, joy, special occasion and that most sought after symbol of Italy – La Dolce Vita (the good life).

Nothing exemplifies more the style, the verve, the gusto, the sharing and the sparkle of the Italian lifestyle than a glass of Prosecco, whether as an aperitivo before your evening meal, a glass to toast the bride and groom or just something worthwhile  when spending time with friends and loved ones
